OUR MONTHLY EVENT FOR THE SALVATION ARMY

This month’s cooking night for the clients of the Salvation Army was once again, a great success. Every month, our team of passionate volunteers from The Bulldog takes on the task of preparing a hearty three-course meal for approximately 40 to 50 clients of the Salvation Army. This monthly event is more than just a meal; it’s an evening filled with the warmth and comfort of homemade food

A DELICIOUS TWIST: SURINAM DELIGHTS

However, this month presented a unique challenge. With a shortage of available volunteers, we had to think creatively to ensure that our commitment to the community remained unwavering. Instead of our usual hands-on cooking, we decided to introduce our clients to the rich and vibrant flavors of Surinamese cuisine. We placed an order for an array of delicious Surinamese dishes, ensuring that the evening was as special and fulfilling as always.

NEW FORMAT, SAME SPIRIT

While the format of this month’s event was different, the spirit of the evening remained the same. The Bulldog is immensely proud to continue supporting the community through these cooking nights. Our commitment to providing not just a meal, but an experience filled with care and joy, is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in the power of good food to bring people together and to create moments of happiness and connection.

OUR COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY AND CARE

As we look forward to the coming months, we are excited to continue this tradition of service. The dedication of our volunteers, the special partnership between The Bulldog and the Salvation Army, and the gratitude of the clients make each cooking night a memorable and meaningful occasion.
We are honored to play a part in making a positive difference in our community and to share the love and generosity that define The Bulldog spirit.
