Donation Brings Disney Dreams to Life

Henk de Vries has once again made a remarkable contribution to the “Make the Dream Come True” project by SWGN (Stichting Wensen Gehandicapten Nederland). This is an annual initiative that enables individuals in the Netherlands with intellectual and/or multiple disabilities to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disneyland Paris.

MADE POSSIBLE BY COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Funded by the Dutch business community, SWGN organizes these trips, handling everything from bookings with Disneyland Paris to arranging specialized transportation and meals. Each year, SWGN takes 300 to 350 participants on two unforgettable trips. These individuals, who come from various institutions across the Netherlands, often lack the financial means to go on holiday.

MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT

This year, the generous donation of Henk will cover the costs for 25 children, allowing them to experience the magic of Disneyland Paris without financial worry. Funding for the Disney dream is primarily sourced from corporate donations. The project makes their dream of meeting Disney characters in person a reality, with Disneyland Paris being the perfect destination for those with special needs.

A TRIP TO REMEMBER

With this donation, Henk has created lasting memories for many children and their families. As the next group of children prepares for their magical journey, the donation stands as a powerful reminder of the positive impact one person can make. Because of the donation, 25 children will experience the wonder of Disneyland Paris, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
