Never forgetting those less fortunate
The Bulldog has its paws firmly planted in our local community. Growing up in the Amsterdam Red Light District, Henk saw how crime, poverty and drug addiction affected the lives of many. To this day, he never forgot where he came from. Influenced by the Salvation Army’s legendary Major Bosshardt, Henk started The Bulldog Foundation to reach out to those in need with food and care. We participate in many different projects, in which our staff members often take an active part!

Pampering Days November 2025
Twice a year, a group of four to five colleagues from The Bulldog sets out to assist during a special event organized by The Salvation Army. Their clients enjoy a week-long holiday in a beautiful hotel nestled in the nature of Lunteren
Cooking Night October 2025
Every month, The Bulldog proudly volunteers during two Cooking Nights organized for clients of The Salvation Army. These evenings are all about sharing good food, warm company, and a sense of community.
